CBIT and Pest Control Technologies International Pty Ltd have collaborated to develop a CD for Pest Control Operators (PCOs). The CD is a comprehensive reference system on urban insects, chemical control and other pest management strategies, aimed at contributing to the training and professional development of PCOs. Version 1.0 was published in October 1999 and officially launched across Australia in November 1999.

The CD uses CBITs generic information software tools and Lucid to cover a broad range of topics in an easy to navigate system. Lucid keys developed for this project include: A Simple Key to the Orders of Insects, Key to Urban Insect Pests, Key to Timber Damage and a Key to Stored Product Damage.
